Welcome
Our goal is to promote organic gardening in the Tamworth community. Living sustainably; educating families; sharing healthy food and knowledge.
We hold regular working bees at members gardens as well as workshops and activities. We also operate a Backyarders Table at the local Growers Market each Saturday morning on Kable Avenue.
Membership and Meetings
New members are always welcome and fees may be payed annually. Becoming a member allows you to attend meetings, participate in garden visits and workshops, and join our Backyarders Table.
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm.
Visits and workshops at members' gardens are also held regularly. This can be a great source of encouragement to beginner and veteran gardeners, and gives members the chance to share information and their love for gardens and the environment.
Our Backyarders Table is a great opportunity for those with excess produce to sell-on to the community.
